Gregg A. Troian
President and Chief Executive
Gregg A. Troian currently serves as President and CEO of Quadrivius,
Inc., the holding company comprising Pittsburgh Logistics Systems (PLS),
eflatbed.com, and Pittsburgh Logistics Systems International (PSLI).
Mr. Troian was instrumental in the establishment of Pittsburgh Logistics
Systems in 1991. Under his direction as President, the company developed
into the premier third-party logistics management provider to the metals
industry, a leadership position it continues to hold today. Pittsburgh
Logistics Systems currently manages the logistics for more than 20 million
tons of metal products per year and employs over 200 people throughout
the United States.
Prior to founding Pittsburgh Logistics Systems, Mr. Troian held various
positions of increasing responsibility at PGT Trucking, Inc., including
Vice President of Operations and Executive Vice President of the company,
through which he gained a hands-on understanding of the flatbed trucking
industry. Earlier in his career, he held positions with National Freight,
Inc., and New Image Transport.
Mr. Troian received his B.S. in Business Management from the New York
Institute of Technology.
|Robert J. Dunn
Chief Financial Officer
Robert J. Dunn brings more than 20 years of industry, accounting, and management
experience to Pittsburgh Logistics Systems, Inc., particularly in the areas
of financial reporting and analysis, strategic planning, and budgeting.
Mr. Dunn comes to PLS from Anderson Equipment Company, where he successfully
orchestrated the company's first budgeting process in its 66-year history
and participated in the selection and implementation of a new financial
Prior to his career at Anderson, Mr. Dunn served as Chief Financial Officer
and later Group Publisher of Thomson Newspapers, Inc., managing the operations
of six newspapers and assumed full profit and loss responsibility. He ultimately
assisted in the sale of the six newspapers on behalf of Thomson Newspapers.
Mr. Dunn was also Vice President of Finance and Treasurer of Vector Security,
Inc., and has held financial positions with Pepsi-Cola Co., Duquesne Light
Co., and Deloitte & Touche LLP.
A Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Dunn received his B.S. in Accounting
from Penn State University and his MBA from Duquesne University.
|James G. Ruiz
Vice President, Logistics Engineering
Having served several of the largest, most well known steel producers in
the U.S., James G. Ruiz brings significant steel industry, supply chain
management, and strategic sourcing experience to PLS.
Most recently, Mr. Ruiz was a Buyer and Project Manager for AK Steel, where
he managed a $160 million sourcing budget. Mr. Ruiz also gained extensive
transportation management knowledge while with Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel,
where he oversaw the company's logistics function, including truck, barge,
and rail shipping.
Mr. Ruiz received his B.A. in Economics from Bucknell University and an
MS in Industrial Administration from Carnegie Mellon University.
|Daniel J. Corrigan
Vice President, Information Systems
Daniel J. Corrigan serves as Vice President of Information Systems, building
on his 15 years of IT management experience, and his years of work in developing
web-based supply chain management systems.
During his career at PLS, Mr. Corrigan managed the design and implementation
of eflatbed.com and the implementation of Oracle® financials,
Reporting System, and the company-wide intranet (Quadnet). He also led
key integration initiatives with several PLS customers and carriers.
Mr. Corrigan earned his B.S. in Information Systems from the University
of Pittsburgh, and has continued his studies through Oracle® Educational
Programs, Merrill Lynch Leadership Development, and the Dale Carnegie Business
Vice President, Carrier Management
Robert Schenken serves as the Vice President of Carrier Management. He
previously held the positions of Assistant Vice President of Logistics
Engineering, as well as, Executive Director of Operations at AK Steel in
Middletown, OH, and brings seven years of business experience to the organization.
He has held several key industry management positions, and established
a transportation company that served the airlines at Greater Pittsburgh
In his previous position as owner of Western Pennsylvania Express, Mr.
Schenken formulated the company's key processes for providing excellent
service and performance for all of the airline's JIT shipments relating
to small package and counter-to-counter deliveries.
While with PLS, Mr. Schenken has led several key strategic and operational
initiatives, most notably successfully integrating several new AK Steel
Corp. plant locations into the logistics operation, including Rockport,
IN; Zanesville and Mansfield, OH; Butler, PA; and more than 120 outside
Mr. Schenken earned a B.S. in Business from Robert Morris University.
Vice President of Operations
Jack Goisse serves as Vice President of Operations, responsible for company-wide
operations, and brings more than 12 years of experience in the transportation
Mr. Goisse began his career in transportation in 1990 as a management trainee
at PGT. He joined PLS in 1992 as a logistics coordinator for the Techs,
and from 1993 to 1996, he served as Logistics Manager for the Techs. In
1996, he was instrumental in the AK Steel start-up, and was promoted to
Director of Operations with responsibility for day-to-day logistics and
Mr. Goisse earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Duquesne University.
